My D4 is always on too, as I have upgraded to the latest release. Although I have had my KPod for a while, I just started using mine regularly. I thought there were a couple of macros that didn't work right, but I attributed that to my lack of macro experience on the K3. I will take a closer look now and see if the Beta firmware is the fix.
