threshold: CW - 20 for max dynamic range to separate callers in a pileup SSB - 15 to prevent harsh sound of thr 20 RTTY - 10 to prevent overdriving the sound card on loud signals Front panel AGC FAST, except SLOW on RTTY, as recommended by G3YYD By the way, Elecraft guys, it would be nice if the AGC Threshold were remembered by mode.
