If you really want an improvement, you should move the preamps to
your masthead.
(not to rain on your parage but you do realize that the .5 dB noise
figure is essentially meaningless if the preamp is in your shack, right?)

preamp in the coax line from the K3s/K144XV to the BEKO HLV-1000

to check out the P50VDG. I am glad I did.
For all of you HFers moaning over the conditions, come on up to the
higher frequencies and have some fun on meteor scatter or moon bounce.
