Howdy folks,
I am planning to participate, havn't yet decided if it will be with the Heathkit station, or the K2, or AT rigs, figure that it will be QRP, and it will be a blast. Have been into this contest a couple times, had grand fun in each. The bands are not perfect, but they are open, and not real noisy. Perfect timing between thunderstorm season and winter quiet. SPRING is here, I heard a bird... and the sweet sound of cw... 'tis just right. I want to test the new vertical, on a steel roof. Expecting 60 mph wind today, not the test I wanted, but it'll do... it'll do.
C U in the 'test,

I'm thinking of giving the K2 a workout tonight in the Homebrew Sprint
contest. Has anyone done this contest before? What level of activity is
typical? Big multiplier for kit built rigs, so I invite my fellow
Elecrafters to join me (0000 to 0400 UTC).
