I think they would not work. I believe they only work with capacitor
tuning circuits where you are only turning the shaft 180 degrees. The
k1 uses a 4 turn pot (I seem to remember, could be wrong) so you would
only be able to tune 1/8 of the K1 range.
Now if you could find one that gave the geared reduction and did not
stop at 180, but rather kept going, then you would have something and I
would install one as soon as it arrived. I wonder does anyone make
something like that?
I just received a reply from tech support at oselectronics....
the VD61 is a continuous 360 degree turns 6 to 1 vernier.
