Upon looking at the various pages you referred to, it appears that they have
made the proper adaptor for use with the K2. You would, however, need the
KIO2 for this to work. Elecraft does not recommend a direct connection to
the /K2 TX, /K2 RX lines as this could cause problems.

As to the other questions, IF you have the KIO2, the KIO2 will interface
WITH the Recommended adapter cable to a PC and uses +/- 15 (approximately)
volt signals on pins 2/3 with 5 as common/signal ground (standard PC I/O).
ALL other pins must have no connection!!! (or you will brake the K2 and
possibly the K2 MCU. For most S/W to talk to the K2 it is assumed that pins
7 and 8 are tied together at the cable. I would address your questions to
WWW Lynovation Com and ask them what is needed.

Subject: [Elecraft] serial port remote control of K2 question

hi all,

has anybody already connected a Bluetooth CTR Interface to the serial port
of the K2? What are the voltage levels needed? RS232 or TTL?
FYI, the CTR Interface page is here:
