Another perfectly-timed business trip to Oklahoma has allowed me to obtain a
permit to camp in the Charon Wilderness Area of the Wildlife Refuge. This is
the
perfect time of year to be there - wildflowers and cactus will be in bloom
and
the temperatures should be downright comfortable.
My KX1 will again be making the trip with me and this time I will also be
lugging a large-format (4x5) camera in an effort to capture the beauty of
this
place. With that in mind, I will not be on the air in the hours before and
after
sunrise/sunset (photo time) but will likely be on late morning and most of
the
afternoons and will definitely be on the air in the evenings after sunset.
