I’ve recently noticed that when I when I switch bands on the K3, the VFO B display area briefly displays a small antenna symbol and the legend “KT500” next to it.
I can’t find any reference to this behavior in the manuals and I’m curious. I don’t have the KAT500 (or KPA500) connected at present, but I may have the CONFIG: KAT500Y set, so I wonder if the K3 displays the symbols when it sends band change information to the KAT500? 73, Alan.
