I am wanting to use RCForb (remotehams) while I am away from my rig. I plan on running the server on the computer connected to the K3S. I would like to do this with no additional interface other than the built in USB sound card. If I set up the server with Speakers USB Audio CODEC as the Tx Audio to Radio will this pass the audio from the client to the radio either via VOX or by me pressing the Transmit button on the client.
I have set up the system as mentioned above and have the receive audio from the rig going to the client on my remote computer. I do not have a microphone headset for the remote computer yet and before I buy one I would like to make sure that the codec will pass the client audio to the radio while in SSB mode. I think I might have read where the CODEC does not work in SSB mode but only in one of the data modes.
