Doug: You are correct - and it seems that Maker Ffaires might be the venue for amateur radio outreach to the younger generation. When I am retired, I certainly would like to be part of this initiative. Is this something the ARRL should look at? I am happy to say that I am an Elmer to KB1YNK, who presented a paper at Dayton a couple of years ago.
