Perhaps this would be good time to remind everyone to be careful with Li-ion
batteries for all products. For example, see page 2 of the KXBT2 battery pack
instructions:

Perhaps the most important line in this document is: "Do not leave the battery
unattended during charging. Charge only on a nonflammable surface.
