Hi Dave, Yes this is the place and that's a great idea. It's called ballistic tuning. I think it ultimately became the feature that makes the RIT dial a rapid tuning dial. Check out the 2009 e-mail from Wayne that I pasted below. Maybe Wayne will update his earlier comment.
