I'm building my new 4-band K1, I have completed the first section of the RF
board assembly, and am at the VFO alignment. However, the frequency is not
changing when the VFO knob is rotated. The troubleshooting guide suggests
possibly the varactor diodes have been installed backwards, but I don't
believe that is the case. The flat side of the varactors is towards the
front which is what the diagram shows. I have checked the pot itself with
an ohmmeter and it seems to be working ok. I would appreciate any
suggestions.
