Hi Hajo, “Delay” mode uses simulated stereo. This is achieved by delaying the right-channel audio by a small amount with respect to the left channel. Your brain interprets this as stereo because, in the real world, sounds arrive at your ears at different times.
In practice this can greatly reduce listening fatigue. Note that it works with dual external speakers as well.
