The KRX3A includes the 220uF Solid Polymer Electrolytic Capacitor on the output of the 8 volt regulator. As far as I know, there is no other difference. This capacitor allows extension of the K3 tuning range (with the modified KBPF3 option) to 100kHz. If you have a KRX3 and KBPF3 to modify.
