I have a excellent condition Yaesu FT-817 (not the ND) that I would like trade for a K1-4 (40-30-20-15) with the tuner. The FT-817 works and looks very good, no scratches, etc. it comes with the following:
FT-817 500 hz CW Filter Yaesu soft case "Peg Leg" lever type feet (made by the folks who make the Palm paddles, they are on their website) power cord original antennas original mic original manual original box AA battery tray (no batteries or charger) (I used rechargeable AA's or external battery pack) original strap (never opened) It has the "mars/60m mod" which eliminates the auto repeater offset, it's not a big deal but wanted to mention it. you just use the offset switch to program the repeater offset and then it is in memory when you go back to that memory. It was that way when I bought it, seems a fair tradeoff to get 60 meter coverage. The radio works great and has the required 5 watts output on all bands according to my wattmeter. I want to trade this for an equally exc condition Elecraft K1-4 with 40-30-20-15 meter bands and the optional tuner at a minimum.
