Once you have that, the next step is to set the audio level correctly.

Then use your digital mode software to do a transmit.

While in transmit there is NO SIGNAL leaving the radio. NO power bars
show. Turning the mic gain does nothing.

PTT keys the rig, the button turns RED and I see no signal going out

is grayed out and the test button does nothing and stays white. My
