Finally, I was about to give up but I managed to solve the issue. After hours of configuration checking and trials, I installed some Windows update which prompted a restart.
After restarting the computer, and being quite stubborn, I decided to give it another try... And it magically worked, no changes needed in the settings, just a computer restart and the driver settled I guess and it has worked since then...
