All of these (Choke, RFC, L) are basically just coils. There is no positive or negative, there is no polarisation, they can be installed either way 'round and it shouldn't make any difference which way 'round you install them. I installed all of mine in the same orientation as resistors (which are again unpolarised) - so the bands can be read left-to-right, or top-to-bottom.
