Drew,
Do you have anything plugged into the AUX IO connector? If so, remove
it and try to power it down.
If that works, examine all the cabling to the AUX IO, that behavior is
typical if AUX IO pin 8 is held low.
If you are using a VGA cable in the AUX IO connector, change it to a
cable that has all 15 pins straight through.
