Great suggestion Tony, and quick. I knew that the K3S's had the same firmware revision as I did them at the same time months ago however this evening I checked the K-PODs and the original one was out of date. It was easy to update and now both act the same with the D4 LED being on all the time. At least this explains why they acted differently. Neither radios will switch the light using the KPLED4 command, perhaps a radio firmware update would help however at the moment I have no interest in using the LED in a macro so I'll leave it alone.
