This is a somewhat minor issue but it seemed so weird I thought I would ask anyway.
I have a Diamond dual band vhf/uhf antenna that I bought, it has an SMA connector, but when seated all the way on the KX3 VHF out, something is shorting out the signal. I have to back out on the connector a little...and I am not talking about real tight. Just finger tight onto the kx3 and. ... no signal. I checked out the Diamond antenna on my th-d72 ht and that is also SMA and no problems on that radio. I have looked at the connector on the antenna and it looks perfectly fine. I also have an SMA-S0239 adapter for another antenna on 2 meters, and no problems with the SMA adapter on the kx3. thanks if anyone has some thoughts on it.
