The K1 was discontinued a while ago, I just bought a k2 over the summer after the K1 was discontinued out of concern the K2 might be next, this is the first I have heard the k2 was discontinued however. Hope not, it’s the only one on the market like it that you can build yourself, we can only hope that perhaps they will come out with new kit radio. 73 Tom, k2bew
