I use Tryten T3 cables. The T3 has a very strong glue to connect a hardened cable pass-through to a device without its own security slot.
These cables and holders are made for server racks that need to he held more securely than a cable lock. Note the kit also contains some wedges to fit into a cable slot too to connect to the monitor. Of course, this is not to keep it safe from someone that has their tools and a good amount of time from getting the item. It does discourage quick grabs and other crimes of opportunity. Here is a link: https://www.tryten.com/cable-locks/universal-computer-lock-kit-standard-t3.html The small black block can be glued to a radio with the supplied glue. As I said, some one could take their tools and disassemble the radio but not in the few minutes you left it unattended I suspect.
