I posted a description of the problems I’m having but the reflector killed it because it was too long. Here’s the first part:
----------------- Mac mini running Sierra 10.12 New K3S Using USB cable only WSJT-X version 1.8.0 Primarily FT8 for the moment Major Problem #1: Communication between the software and the K3S is unstable and unreliable. For example — When the software goes into Transmit right on the button, the K3S power comes on 2 to 3 full seconds later. When the software comes out of Transmit right on the button, the K3S keeps transmitting for 2 to 3 seconds. Sometimes the K3S NEVER stops transmitting. Sometimes the software goes into Transmit, but the K3S doesn’t transmit at all.
