And... that's the argument that FT-817 owners have used for staying with the 817... the KX rigs do not have 2 M or 70cm capability and all modes, as well. Those owners live with the poor battery performance, etc., or buy aftermarket alternatives. By the time it all gets added up, it's expensive.
