No, it cannot. You need to set the N1MM+ configuration for the radio control port and the CONFIG:PTT-KEY menu item in the radio to match one another. For example, if CONFIG:PTT-KEY is set to OFF-RTS, then in N1MM+ you must configure DTR to Always Off and RTS to CW.
