The ModMic-4 has ONLY a cardioid mic, so will be BAD for wind-blast breath-pops, handling noise, and bass boost. The ModMic-5 has both omni and cardioid, with a switch to select between them.
I've never seen one of these -- I'm going only by the description on the webpage.
