Jack,

The PX3 has no capability for a large monitor. The USB jack is for a keyboard. That means there is no way to connect a large monitor.

The P3 (used with the K3 and other radios with an IF output) does have an option to use an SVGA monitor, but that operates from the transceiver output, not the RX IQ baseband signals.

You can however connect the RX IQ output to a computer soundcard and the KXUSB to run a panadapter application on the computer. NaP3 and Win4K3 are two, HDSDR may be another. If you then interface your computer with an HDMI monitor, then you may have what you want.

I know the capability exists, but I am not currently using those applications. If you have trouble with setup or operation, consult the forums for that particular software.

I may have missed the latest update of this but has there been any progress
on using an external monitor via HDMI to connect to the PX3 (own a KX3 and
hope to soon have a PX3)? Thanks for any update!
