If you don't mind the RF noise they produce, a small DC-AC inverter can be a good solution. Slides 213-214 in http://k9yc.com/KillingRXNoiseVisalia.pdf show a small one that I bought to run a laptop in W6GJB's truck for mobile contesting.  This is the smallest model in their Pure Sine Wave series, and it's much quieter than larger models in the same series, which are too noisy use close to antennas.

For others who suggested other DC chargers -- all forms of Li batteries can easily be damaged if not charged per their design specs. Unless you know those specs and can be certain to conform to them, stick with the "official" charger.
