I live rather rural, no mail delivery in our remote desert area. Get my mail and packages at a rural mail box cluster. Hard to get FedEx or UPS out here, so USPS is it. Can't say I've ever had a problem receiving packages with various radio gear (including my KX2), two expensive DJI Phantom drones (those came from China), etc. through USPS. If you have, it must be the local mail handlers, and there are recourses for that.
Certainly hope you get your KPA1500 soon and in perfect shape and don't think USPS is the kiss of death. Don't loose any sleep over it (yet!).
