There are airline regulations regarding batteries so you should check to make sure that your battery sizes are acceptable. Bringing a transceiver though security is usually a piece of cake. I have TSA Precheck which I think makes things easier in US airports but I rarely have had to take my K3S out of my carry-on luggage anywhere.
