The eSynic VC043 (available from Amazon for $12.95) works well with the P3 and a HDMI monitor. The one thing you will need to do is supply 5 Vdc to the USB plug on this unit. The USB on the back of the P3 does not work to provide power to this unit so you will need another source like your computer.
I brought this issue with the lack of power with the USB on the P3 up in another thread a few days ago and have not received any response.
