When we next release K3 firmware, the message flashed on VFO B will be 
“KPA*500”, intended to convey that either a KPA500 or KPA1500 is connected. At 
present the K3 doesn’t distinguish between the two, since they’re identical as 
far as operating state and error messages are concerned.
