I have found noise-canceling headphones to be an effective antidote to amplifier fan noise. But I must say that I like hearing that fan humming along and delivering the RF (though not hour after hour in a contest). Probably the result of a misspent youth beside a homebrew dual 813 linear rack. 73, Peter W2CDO
