"I'm pretty sure I am seeing people running data WELL beyond the band plan into the SSB section of several bands... 20m for almost certain."
Quite possibly the RF second harmonic of an in-band 40 m signal. It's unlikely that anyone would hope to work a data mode QSO far away from the accepted normal frequencies. 40 m data is allowed up to 7.125 and twice that is well into 20 m phone allocation. Even the typical FT8 upper limit of about 7.076 has a second harmonic inside 20 m phone allocation. 73, Andy, k3wyc ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
