Hi Ed,
If I recall, the HC4 is the "DX" element, so it's not going to have the
full sound of the wider range Heil mics, like the Goldline or the new
full-response elements. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but if
you're looking for "pleasant" sounding audio, the HC4 might not be the
best choice. I'm sure you'll get lots of feedback on this.
