The Koss SB40 has a dynamic mic. I’m not surprised that a $30 headset with a dynamic mic has problems. It looks like a clone of the Yamaha CM500, but with a worse mic. My Yamaha CM500 says “KOSS” on the mic plug. The Koss SB45 has an electret mic and gets good reviews.
