Hi Steve
     I have S Meter Lite running on my K3S (w/P3 & KTA1500) connected to a
fairly new HP desktop running windows 10 and utilizing the standard USB
connection. If it helps any I have the P3 connected to the compute through
the K3S. The KPA 1500 is on a separate USB cable directly to the computer
I wish I could be of more help, but in my case it downloaded, installed and
ran right off the bat.
If I can check anything or try anything specific for you let me know.
