KAT100/K2 not consistent Mine would do the same! Found that if at last power down if the output power on the K2 was set to greater than 20 watts or higher the KAT100 and KPA100 (both in E2C ) would not come on line. The following is what I found for consistent operation.
Some but not all to the following are in any of the manuals for K2, KAT100 or KPA100!! Set K2 tuner menu to AUTO. 1. Power to E2C (KAT100 and KPA100) first. 2. Power and turn on K2. 3. Turn K2 power down, <20 to 1 watt. -KEY for operating with KAT100 and KPA100. 4. Set power on K2 >20 but less than 100 watts.. Works every time!
