Ed, The Hi-Cur message comes from the base K2, not the KPA100. Since your KPA100 is reporting only 1 watt output (actually this may be none), the base K2 is trying to pump full power into the amp in an attempt to produce some power output but it is failing. You should look at your KPA100 to see why it is not amplifying.
First thing to check is the soldering, and second is to check that all component leads found their way into the proper holes. 73, Don W3FPR -----Original Message----- Thought I was making great progress right through KPA100 but..
