Once you have selected your soundcard and get ready to set the audio
levels, you may want to refer to the article on my website
www.w3fpr.com. Scroll to the last article on the left column and click
the link.
You must set the KX3 (or K3 or K3S or KX2) for 4 bars solid on the ALC
display with the 5th bar flashing. Most internet advice does not work
for Elecraft radios.
