I started with the settings on Walt Underwood’s (K6WRU) page https://observer.wunderwood.org/2015/09/09/transmit-audio-and-compression-with-the-elecraft-kx3/#content <https://observer.wunderwood.org/2015/09/09/transmit-audio-and-compression-with-the-elecraft-kx3/#content>. I consistently get good audio reports with DX and contesting.
