Season's Greetings to everyone on the list. I've been trying to set up for digital communications and I am having some trouble getting the computer to communicate with the KX3.
I keep getting hamlib errors - the latest is "communications timed out while opening connection to rig".... Instead of jamming the already busy list, can somebody point me in the direction of some plain language (not technobabble) instructions on setting my KX3/SignalLink up for FT-8. Before anybody gets snarky, the computer industry passed me by many years ago and at my age, I'm willing to reeducate myself on all things computer, but I have to start somewhere. Thanks in advance.
