I kept mine and updated all that I could except for the new synthesizers while I was using the new K3S. I transferred some of he items in the K3 to the new S, swapped some filters and the DVR. I kept the K3 as a backup and may also continue to update it. We'll see.

I already have a nicely equipped K3 (but no subreceiver) and am wondering if I should sell it or if I'd find it still useful enough to keep. Would like to hear advice from others who have upgraded to a K3S *with* subreceiver and kept their K3. Is the original rig still valuable to you?
