It's unfortunate that there's not enough room on the reflector to illustrate the relationships involved.
At the appropriate angle an inverted vee dipole mimics two of the four lobes of half of a rhombic. Actually, if the truth were known, the ease of installation with just one support is the determining factor for most .... And, a rhombic "wastes" much radiation in achieving the gain it does produce.
