I have a K2 built by another ham and am getting used to it. I I recently discovered that when I plug my headphones into the headphone jack on the front the speaker still is active as before. The only way I can disable the speaker is to insert another plug into the speaker jack on the back. Is this the way this radio is supposed to operate or is there a wiring error somewhere? I have looked through the K2 manual and find nothing about the headphone jack except that it is for plugging in the headphones. Thank you. Dave K8WPE
