I am planning to try this - the reason will become clear later. I want to use the KX3 in portable QRP operations on 80m, most probably during daylight hours.
Please, don’t tell me about the inefficiencies of short verticals on the low bands, or the propagation issues on 80m during daylight. These I understand. But I have a project in mind….. My question is to ask if anyone on the list has ever tried this, and with what results? If any!
