I have an inverted v antenna right above the house. It is picking up

better than the v so it's not a great loss.

You might try a bead balun on the inverted vee, if you do not already have one. This will keep RF from the TV from flowing up the outside of the coax and getting into your antenna. Also, rerouting the vee's feedline away from the TV or its antenna lead might help. Finally, if the TV has an external antenna, an old-fashioned highpass filter on the TV set along with ferrites on the power cord will reduce the radiation from the TV.
