Roland, Resolution on this meter is down to a tenth of a pF. It does not read above 1 uF though, so the meter you bought will be useful for measuring larger caps.
I have a similar situation -- I already have a Fluke meter that reads capacitance down to 1 nF -- not useful for measuring the small caps you come across in kits.
